Privacy Policy

The short version: Orbbis runs entirely in your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit your Discord bot token or any personal data to our servers. Everything stays on your device.

1. Who We Are

Orbbis ("we", "us", or "our") is a free, browser-based Discord bot configuration tool available at orbbis.app. It allows users to configure and download a ready-to-run Discord bot without writing code.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Orbbis is a fully client-side application. We do not collect, receive, store, or process:

Your Discord bot token
Your Discord account information
Bot configuration data (commands, responses, settings)
Project files you save or import (.orbbis.json)
Any personally identifiable information (PII)

All data you enter in the editor is stored exclusively in your browser's memory and is cleared when you close the tab.

3. How the Editor Works

When you use Orbbis:

Token validation — your token is sent directly from your browser to Discord's API (https://discord.com/api/) to fetch your bot's name and avatar. It is never sent to Orbbis servers.
File generation — your bot's ZIP file is generated entirely in your browser using JavaScript. No file is uploaded to any server.
Image uploads — if you upload a custom image for a bot response, it is sent to ImgBB, a third-party image hosting service. Please review ImgBB's Terms of Service.
Project save/import — the .orbbis.json project file is downloaded to and read from your local machine only.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

Orbbis does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We may use the browser's localStorage solely to remember your theme preference (dark or light mode) across sessions. This data never leaves your device.

5. Third-Party Services

Orbbis may load resources from the following third-party services:

Google Fonts — to load the Inter, Space Grotesk, and Orbitron typefaces. Google may collect limited usage data. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Discord API — for bot token validation only, initiated directly by your browser. See Discord's Privacy Policy.
ImgBB — only if you choose to upload an image. See ImgBB's Terms of Service.

We do not integrate any analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

6. Children's Privacy

Orbbis is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has used our service, please note that no personal data is collected or retained by us.

7. Security

Because Orbbis does not transmit or store your data on any server, the risk of a data breach on our end is zero. Your bot token and configuration are only ever present in your browser's memory during your session.

We strongly recommend keeping your bot token private and regenerating it in the Discord Developer Portal if you believe it has been compromised.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
